Have you faced barriers in the wildlife profession or are you working to make wildlife field work accessible to everyone? We believe the wildlife profession should be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone and we want to hear your stories.
All student members of the OCTWS are invited to submit a fieldwork photo either of themselves in the field or a picture they have taken during fieldwork and include:
1. A brief 2-3 sentence biosketch
2. a max. 100 word description of what fieldwork means to you, and
3. a max. 200 word description of barriers you have overcome to be able to participate in fieldwork, or, what barriers you are helping to break down so that everyone feels comfortable in the field.
Applicants must indicate their intent to participate by applying and uploading their application materials by Tuesday, October 11th at 6pm.
