Are you looking to increase your proficiency in R?  Join the Ontario Chapter of the Wildlife Society on Friday, September 23rd from 12-4 P.M. EST for a workshop on geospatial applications and analysis for wildlife ecologists in R, presented by Tyler Hampton (he/him).  Tyler is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Waterloo and is a part of the Collaborative Water Program.  He studies the role of disturbances on forested landscapes, including wildfires and harvesting, in impacting water quality and drinking water security for downstream areas and communities. Tyler also loves birding, diving into eBird data around Waterloo, as well as mapping trails around Waterloo Region into OpenStreetMap.
 
Some introductory knowledge of R is recommended for participants.  Advanced registration is required for this workshop.
